Meet Sharni Mandair – Flagship Partner’s latest Recruit!
Today we wanted to introduce you to Sharni Mandair, who is our new Business Development Manager, as she has exceptional planning and implementation capabilities.
Sharni joined us at the start of October and will work alongside our Marketing Manager, Abbie, to promote Flagship Partners as well as building new business and developing current business. With a recruitment background in industrial and commercial roles, Sharni uses her previous career knowledge to find Flagship Partners’ perfect clients through a variety of sales activities including merchandise drops and attending networking events in the Peterborough area.
Previous to Flagship Partners and recruitment, Sharni gained account management experience. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and experiencing different scenery and food. Sharni also enjoys shopping trips and visiting art galleries with friends and family.
We asked Sharni three questions about what she was looking forward to about starting at Flagship Partners.#
Q – What interested you about the Business Development Manager role?
A – I wanted to develop on my current skills in sales which I gained through recruitment. Also, I wanted to grow in my career and I believe Flagship Partners is the best place for growth, as Pete invests in his employees. In addition to this, I’m excited to cultivate and develop businesses with the future plans to grow my team. I also enjoy the competitive and fast nature of the role.
Q – How did you feel about this being your first role in Business Development?
A – I was and still am excited about the new challenges, ready to get stuck in and to hit targets and achieving goals as I’m a competitive individual. I’m eager to develop business and grow a team at Flagship Partners.
Q – How do you think you’ll fit into Flagship Partners?
A – I believe I will fit in and be a great addition to the team. Even though I’ve only been with the company a few weeks, I already love the team and I am excited to learn from them as they have a wide variety of experience and knowledge between them.
